Investment research is composed of equity analysis, economics, and other information investors will find useful. Whilst, essays can best distilled down to the philosophy of economics, more normative and free-flowing writing.

Why should I subscribe?

This duality of this publication attempts to capture both types of readers who either prefer concise reads about concurrent insights to the market or to reads who are looking for more profound reads.

The main goal for Hedge and Theory is to establish a concise and credible portfolio of deep research as well as writings with novel ideas and core fundamentals heavily inspired by schools of thought including Austrian School of Economics and Chicago School of Economics.

My name is Russell and I am a Canadian investor and new graduate with a B.com in Economics.

Nowadays, my main focus is to break into equity research, although, I am still open to academia pursuits.
